Used in many different applications, Barnwood can be used for interior or exterior projects such as siding, wainscot, accent walls, ceilings along with numerous other situations in remodels, new construction, and furniture making. We carry many widths, lengths, colors, and patinas.
Beams/Timbers/Mantles:
Reclaimed beams, either hand hewn or rough cut, will give your home or business elegance and character that nothing else will compare to. With a multitude of uses these magnificent pieces of history will surely be a conversation piece wherever you decide to use them. Sizes ranging from 4"x4" up to, and sometimes exceeding 12"x12". These also make amazing mantle pieces, which we can cut to size, sand and/ or finish any of these pieces for you if you desire.
Dimensional Lumber:
Reclaimed dimensional lumber is usually full dimension lumber (ie: A 2x4 is actually 2"x4" or close to it), unlike most new lumber these days. We carry a large variety of dimensional lumber mostly in greyish and brown patinas. This works very well for decorative framing, door and door frames, bar tops, stair treads, vanities, and can also be milled into reclaimed flooring!
Flooring:
Our local reclaimed flooring is beautiful beyond belief, and made right here in Billings, Montana! Our hardwood flooring is made in the Midwest. Available in many species this flooring exudes a warm classic look to any home or business. While our "Dirty Top" flooring is skip planed leaving the textures and sawmarks that many desire, we also carry "Clean Cut" flooring that fully planes off the outside layer of wood revealing the beautifully aged tones and wood grains that only reclaimed wood can provide. Species include fir, pine, red oak, white oak, elm, rock elm and many others.
Aged Tin and Fasteners:
We carry rusted corrugated metal roofing and paneling that has endured many harsh Montana winters. This stuff looks great as wainscot accent pieces, backsplashes along with many other creative ideas we have seen. We also carry used door hinges, barn doors, sliding barn doors and many other unique items we get through our salvage process.
